CLINICAL PRACTICE:

I am a registered psychologist who has been trained in numerous diverse orientations/therapies, including cognitive-behavioural (CBT), psychodynamic, humanistic/client centred, emotion focused, interpersonal (IPT), object-relations, and process experiential. I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from York University (and my Honours B.Sc., as a Specialist in Psychology, from University of Toronto) and am a registered member of the College of Psychologists. I am the Toronto Area Representative on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Psychological Association.

I have been working with clients in various hospitals in Ontario and in a private clinic, providing psychotherapy and conducting psychological, personality, and intelligence assessments since 1998. I have also conducted many parenting capacity assessments since 2001. Before that, I received training at and volunteered for the Distress Centre and Central Agency Sexual Abuse Treatment Program from 1996-1998.

I work with a diverse group of clients, ranging from late teens to seniors, who can work one on one, as a couple, or in groups. We cover every theme imaginable, including issues related to school, work, relationships, family, sexuality, finances, major life transitions, depression, and anxiety, to name a few.
